What can India learn from New Zealand? Sehwag answers
New Zealand in ICC tournaments is a case study for other teams. The Black Caps keep churning top-class performances one after the other. Once again, Kane Williamson’s side is in the final of the T20 World Cup and will meet Trans-Tasman rivals Australia.
Former India opener Virender Sehwag, who is known for his witty take on contemporary cricket subjects, has suggested a piece of lesson which India can learn from New Zealand.
"India doesn't need to learn anything from them. India are a good team and can beat both England and New Zealand on any day, but one thing they can definitely learn is to be positive and play positively because T20 format or white-ball cricket, it's the format of brave players and you have to take risks, you need to express yourself," he said on his Facebook Watch show Virugiri Dot Com.
India failed to qualify for the semi-finals after losing to Pakistan and New Zealand in the Super 12.
India will now be in action against New Zealand, with the T20I series kicking off on the 17th of this month.
