We will dominate - Sreesanth on India's batters taking on Pakistan

India and Pakistan will once again gear up for the second round of cricket's biggest rivalry scheduled for Sunday, which will mark the Men in Blue's first Super Four clash of the Asia Cup.

In the first game between the two juggernauts in the ongoing Asia Cup, things went horribly sideways for two of India's top-order batters, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, as Shaheen Afridi claimed both of their wickets. Virat's inside edge cannoned onto the stumps while Rohit’s hesitation in trying to reach out for the ball acted against him.

With the clash only a few days away, former Indian fast bowler, Sreesanth, opened up on why Virat should not be worried at all. He also talked about how the Indian captain should let that dismissal against Shaheen Shah Afridi go as a one-off.

Talking to Sportskeeda, Sreesanth said, “It was unfortunate for India. Pakistan were lucky to get Virat Kohli's wicket because it was an inside edge. I don't count it as a wicket. I know him personally, which is why I know what would have been going through his mind after seeing Pakistan's celebration. I am just waiting for the next India-Pakistan match.”

He further added, “I won't say Rohit Sharma has always struggled against left-arm pacers. When you are in good form, everything clicks. He started off quite well, hitting a flick even off a good ball. Both Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli looked very good. After watching Virat Kohli's cover drive, I thought he would score a century. Just wait for the next match. Let any left-arm pacer come, we will dominate him.”

From an Indian perspective, the fans will hope Rohit and Virat put up their best show against Pakistan, whose bowlers have been in top-form in this Asia Cup.
