As India hustle against Bangladesh in the ongoing Test at Chattogram, the Men in Blue have their eyes set on the prized WTC final with a very tricky path ahead of them. With 5 tests remaining for India after the ongoing contest, they will have to win almost all of it if they can.

India’s head-coach, Rahul Dravid opened up on their exact strategy from hereon and what the Men in Blue’s most plausible contingency plan is. In an interview on BCCI.tv, Rahul Dravid said, “It is one step at a time. I don't think we can start looking at the sixth one before we start here. We have got to win this one first. We have to play our best cricket to give ourselves a chance and then go to Dhaka and replicate. Just take it as we go.”

After India is done with Bangladesh, they will have to face the mighty Aussies at home for a four-match Test series. This fray will define India’s chances of making the cut for the final.

Rahul Dravid concluded by talking about the upcoming series against Australia, as he added, “We know we have a challenge on our hands, we have to win a majority of the games we have left in the championship. But we are not going to get there if we don't take the first steps well. We have to focus on this one and then see how the cards fall and then we will see what we have to do in the series against Australia.”
