The win really helps – Arshdeep Singh on India’s dominant victory against Bangladesh in T20 World Cup warm-up clash

India tamed Bangladesh in their solitary warm-up match emphatically as their bowlers lived up to the lofty expectations after a solid showdown with the bat. Arshdeep Singh proved to be the game-changer with a couple of early blows that left Bangladesh derailed.

Talking on a video for BCCI, Arshdeep Singh said, “It feels good. It’s always important how you start. We got wickets early on and we didn’t give any runs. The wicket was helping us as well. We just tried to keep it simple and we got the results. The ground is sand-based and you have to ensure that you get your rhythm right. I could feel what rhythm feels like.”

He further added, “We did that well and just looking forward to doing that in the games. It will be a challenge adapting to the conditions here. I guess everyone is adapting really well. The practice session was in the morning and everyone turned up and gave their hundred percent there.”

The Indian quick concluded by saying, “We can see that on the field as well, the way we played as a team, it was an excellent result. The win really helps. The warm-up game, it really gives you good motivation as well when the fans are watching and supporting you.”
