Suryakumar Yadav’s reign at the top of the ICC T20I batting rankings continued after a bedazzling display in the recently concluded T20 World Cup. SKY bagged the T20 ace during the Super 12 stage and continued to impress the world with a further extension of unparalleled brilliance in the showpiece event.

The 32-year-old Indian biffer amassed 239 runs during the T20 World Cup at an average of 59.75 and a strike rate of 189.68. He was the third highest run-scorer of the tournament and amongst the top ten batters, his strike rate was the best by a proverbial mile.

After scoring a match-winning half-century against New Zealand in the World Cup semi-finals, Babar Azam regained his third spot in the T20I batting rankings. His opening partner Muhammad Rizwan retained the second spot for himself.

English opener Alex Hales who smashed a match-winning knock against India by scoring 86 from 47 balls, helped him clinch almost 22 spots to reach the 12th position in the ICC T20I batting rankings. Hales returned to international cricket after a staggering wait of almost three years and finished as England’s second highest run-scorer in the T20 World Cup, garnering 212 runs at an average of 42.40.

Wanindu Hasaranga remained perched at the top of the ICC T20I bowling rankings with an imperious display in the biennial extravaganza. Adil Rashid gained significant spots to climb up the ICC T20I bowling rankings, moving up to the 3rd spot while Sam Curran bagged the 5th spot in the echelons after finishing as the highest wicket-taker in the T20I bowling rankings.

In the all-rounders list, Shakib-Al-Hasan continued to drive the ace while Mohammad Nabi and Hardik Pandya bagged the second and the third spot respectively.
