RCB Podcast: Shreyanka Patil revealed how cricket running in her family was her primary motivator

As they say if something runs in the family, possibilities are high that you will be too good at it as well. RCB all-rounder, Shreyanka Patil simply blows life to this age-old adage. Talking on the RCB Podcast, Shreyanka highlighted how it all started for her in the 22 yards.

Shreyanka said, “My father was a cricketer, my brother is still playing cricket. It’s nice to see them play and I found that this sport was interesting. Why can’t I pick up the sport? Because my dad used to run an academy. My brother used to go there. Why am I sitting at home and doing nothing? I said, "Let me pick up some sport.”

She further added, “I was good at multiple sports but I just wanted to try this and see how it goes. I was like, let me start off seeing and watching them play and I was like, ‘okay fine, this was fun.’”
