RCB Bold Diaries – Andy Flower and Faf du Plessis share words of encouragement for RCB’s upcoming games

Things took an unwanted turn for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru as they slumped down to their second straight defeat in Chinnaswamy in the ongoing edition of the IPL. Pitted against Lucknow Super Giants, they ended up being 28 runs short of the finish line, a defeat that left them in the 9th position of the points table.

RCB’s head coach, Andy Flower, however, believes that this defeat may have left everyone in the dressing room gutted but it also presents the opportunity for the players to fight their way back to the top.

Talking on the latest Bold Diaries video, Andy said, “We got exciting opportunities just around the corner in a few days’ time. The opportunity that I see is how we can respond. It was a tough day today. Everyone in this room will be hurting. How can we respond then?”

RCB captain, Faf du Plessis, had a few words of encouragement for the fans and said, “RCB fans thank you very much for all the support that you came to the ground. It’s amazing to see the fans. Disappointed with the last two performances. Feel like as a team would be hurting up there. But we’re very grateful for your support and we hope to see you again when we get back to Bengaluru. Thank you so much. It means so much to us, and there are a lot of boys in there who actually appreciate it. We speak about the fans all the time and how special it is to play at home. So thank you for that and we will look to improve.”
