RCB-W clinched their maiden WPL title and that came on the back of some serious firepower headlining the global events. Ellyse Perry carved a very special all-round display that also saw her walking away with the Orange Cap as she managed to garner 347 runs.

Staying unbeaten for an incredible 35 in the grand finale, Pez was ecstatic about the team’s performance in overall tournament and she was also amazed by the sheer frenzy in the crowd. The febrile raptures that followed suit left her almost speechless. Yet, in an interview on the sidelines, she summed it up in a pretty gleeful manner.

Pez said, “Pretty bonkers to be honest. It's another level for us - the support for all the teams has been phenomenal and it's been unbelievable.”

Heaping praises on Richa Ghosh, Perry said, “She is unbelievable, for such a young player, she has got so many shots, we were cool and we felt we had to stay in the game and it took longer than it should have been.”

Extending her words of praise further and finishing things off on a pretty cool note, Pez concluded, “Molineux turned the match on its head. The rest of the spinners backed her up. Shreyanka is such a young player and she has got the world at her feet, that was a special performance. That was awesome. Sophie [Devine] and Shreyanka will be owning the stage, they are goat dancers.”
