Preethi Pal sprinted her way to glory and earned herself a bronze medal in the Women's 100m T35 event at the Paris Paralympics on Thursday.

She registered her personal best timing of 14.21s, finishing just behind China’s Xia Zhou and Qianqian Guo. Competing in her first Paralympics, the 23-year-old secured a bronze medal in women’s 200m T35 at the World Para Athletics Championship, showing her flair for glory.

This was India’s third medal of the Paris Para games after Avni Lekhara and Mona Agarwal clinched gold and bronze in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 final earlier in the day.
