It feels great – Rahul Dravid delighted with India’s win against Bangladesh

Team India surged past Bangladesh in their solitary warm-up contest, securing a staggering 60-run win over their neighbours. From leading the charge with the bat to bowling really tight overs, it was a good day out for the Men in Blue. Following the contest, Rahul Dravid spoke at length about the conditions of the ground and what was the exact feeling in the dressing room.

Talking on the official Instagram channel of BCCI, Rahul Dravid said, “It feels great to have a good hit out. It is really a good facility in terms of infrastructure that they have. The ground is little bit soft. I think the guys will feel it tomorrow on the hamstring and the calves. That’s an area that we have to ensure that we are working around. We have to ensure that the guys are looking after themselves.”

Shedding some light on the venue, he further added, “It does feel a little bit heavy underneath. A little bit spongy at times. I though we coped really well. I thought we managed that really well. We batted and put what was an above par score on the wicket. And then we came out and bowled really well. All in all, I though we got a good run-around, we got a good hit. We’ve been here for three days now. You just get a game in, it’s really nice. Hopefully we can prepare well for the next couple of days and we will be ready for the fifth.”
