India’s full schedule at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024

The Indian women’s cricket team will commence their T20 World Cup campaign against New Zealand on October 4th as ICC announced the revised fixtures. After the shifting of the tournament from Bangladesh to UAE due to the political frenzy, the apex cricket authority of the world had to reshuffle the fixtures and India have been clubbed with six-time champions Australia, apart from New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in Group A.

India will be playing West Indies in a warm-up match on 29th September while following that up with another warm-up fixture against the finalists from the preceding edition, South Africa.

India will play their opening fixture with a clash against New Zealand on October 4th while colliding with their arch-rivals, Pakistan on October 6th. Three days later, they will be eyeing revenge for their earlier defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka in the Asia Cup final as they clash with their neighbours on October 9th.

They will finish the group stages with a clash against Australia on 13th October. The top two teams from each group will be a part of the semi-finals.
