ICC announces revised schedule for Women’s T20 World Cup 2024
ICC announced the revised fixtures for the Women’s T20 World Cup, which will be played in the UAE from October 3rd. With 23 matches to be played, Dubai and Sharjah have been picked as the two venues to be the epicenter of all the cricketing frenzy.
India will face Pakistan on October 6th as per the revised schedule, three days from the start of the tournament. The tournament will start with a clash between Bangladesh and Scotland while India will commence their tournament with a battle against New Zealand on October 4th.
The Women’s T20 World Cup, which originally slated to be played in Bangladesh, was shifted to UAE after security concerns being raised due to the current political scenario in the country.
