BCCI announce Indian squad for ICC T20 World Cup 2024
BCCI announced the India squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup, which will be played in the USA and West Indies.
India will be starting their campaign against Ireland on June 5th at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York followed by the clash against their arch-rivals, Pakistan on June 9th at the same ground. India will then play against the USA on June 12th and Canada on June 15th.
Rohit Sharma will be leading the squadron for the Men in Blue while Hardik Pandya will be deputizing for him. Suryakumar Yadavand Virat Kohli are expected to be the crux of India’s firepower in the middle-order while Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant have been summoned to the Indian side as wicket-keepers.
The bowling department will be led by Jasprit Bumrah who will be flanked by Mohammed Siraj and Arshdeep Singh in the pace department while Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzvendra Chahal are the key spinners for the Men in Blue.
