We wish them well – Mo Bobat on Jacob Bethell and Lungi Ngidi leaving for national duties

RCB will be without two of their star players, Lungi Ngidi and Jacob Bethell for the remainder of the IPL 2025 season. Both Ngidi and Bethell have left the team to join their compatriots for upcoming national duties.

Talking on RCB Bold Diaries, Mo Bobat, the Director of cricket, opened up on what it would mean for the Royal Challengers to bid farewell to the two stars for the remainder of the season.

Mo Bobat said, “We say goodbye to a couple of people. Both Lungi and Beth leave us. Disappointing to have them go because we would like them, you know, for the rest of the campaign. But both of them are going off for international duties.”

He further added, “So we wish them well. I’m sure they’ll do well in their respective competitions and formats, they’ve got coming up. So it’s a shame to say goodbye to them but they contributed a lot. So big thanks from everyone here.”
