We will reflect and come back stronger: Suryakumar Yadav

The Indian fans were aggrieved to witness the Men in Blue crash out of the ongoing T20 World Cup after they suffered a crushing defeat at the hands of England in the semi-final. India rode high on the duo of Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav as the duo ruled the roost with an iron fist throughout the span of the tournament.

The ongoing year has been an exceptional one for Suryakumar Yadav who has smashed 1040 runs in 29 innings and all of these have come at a whopping strike rate of 185.71.

He started the showpiece event on a reticent note but soon got back to his groove, laying waste to the bowlers at volition. However, being ousted from the T20 World Cup is never a good feeling, no matter the records, no matter the numbers and no matter the phenomenal run that you have savoured in the past.

Surykumar Yadav had a message for the Indian fans following the defeat in the semi-final. “Hurtful loss. Forever grateful to our fans who create electrifying atmosphere, no matter where we play. Thankful for the undying support for each other, proud of the hardwork put in by this team  and support staff. Proud to play for my country. We will reflect  and come back stronger!,” said SKY.

It wasn’t just SKY who left an emotional message for the Indian cricket fans but other Indian cricketers also chimed in for the Indian cricket fans and its admirers. Despite the best of attempts, Team India couldn’t sustain the English heat as Jos Buttler and Alex Hales found their rhythm, chasing down the stipulated total with 4 overs to spare in the semis.
