We got to learn from the batting point of view – Suryakumar Yadav on India's loss in Rajkot

Despite a phenomenal performance from the bowlers, the Indian batters failed to rack up a winning performance in the 3rd T20I as the hosts fell short of the finishing line by 26 runs in Rajkot. The batters did get starts, but none of them could convert them into big knocks as the England bowlers struck at crucial junctures to run away with the game.
Talking at the post-match conference, India captain Suryakumar Yadav zeroed in on the conditions that he felt played a defining factor in the match, while also crediting England for their rollicking performance.
Highlighting the conditions and how Adil Rashid used them to the fullest, SKY said, “I felt there would be little dew later in the day. I feel we had the game in our hands when Hardik and Axar were batting. Credit goes to Adil Rashid, he bowled really well. That's why he is a world-class bowler. He didn't allow us to rotate the strike. That's why we had a lot of spinners in our side as well.”
He further added, “We always learn something from a T20 game. We got to learn from the batting point of view. Got to go back to the drawing board and learn from our mistakes. I am sure Shami will do better going forward.”
He concluded with a word of praise for Varun Chakaravarthy, stating, “He has been working really hard during practice sessions. He is disciplined and he's getting those results on the field as a result of that hard work.”
