We all know who Virat Kohli is – Krunal Pandya on teaming up with the RCB star
Krunal Pandya has been an indomitable force in the domestic echelons of Indian cricket, and in the latest iteration of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Krunal has claimed eight wickets at a frugal economy rate of 6.77. On the back of consistently dictating the shots with the ball in his hand to putting up some crucial knocks with the bat, the elder Pandya sibling was bought by RCB at INR 5.75 crore at the IPL 2025 mega-auction held in Jeddah.
In a Bold Diaries video released by RCB, Krunal Pandya opened up on what playing alongside Virat Kohli means to him while also underscoring the importance of the winning passion that burns bright in him.
Talking about taking the yard alongside VK in the same threads, Krunal said, “We all know who Virat Kohli is and what he has done. Lots to learn as well from him. Again, I love his passion and aggression, what he brings to the team, and that energy just rubs off onto the others as well. I love that vibe and energy.”
He also talked about the winning spirit, adding, “I'm also very passionate; I love winning. The agenda when I go out there on the field is to win, regardless of what happens. Sometimes, that brings out that aggression because you are so passionate about the game. At the end of the day, what I believe is that it's a team game. For me, winning becomes much more important than individual performance because I love winning trophies.”
Krunal concluded by stating, “Everything I see about RCB, at this point in time, is very exciting. You know, getting into the season knowing the fact that RCB has not won, that itself is a great motivation to go out there and play.”
