Virat Kohli reveals why he went off the field during final moments of fourth T20I
Virat Kohli gave a mini scare to all the fans, particularly those of RCB as he decided to sit out the final moments of the fourth T20I against England. In Virat’s absence, Rohit marshalled the troops. In a thrilling encounter, India managed to hold their nerves to seal the game by eight runs.
After the game, though, Virat Kohli confirmed that there was nothing serious and he would be ready for the next game, much to the relief of the fans of the Indian captain. Royal Challengers Bangalore kick off their IPL 2021 campaign in just a little more than two weeks against Mumbai Indians.
"I ran for a ball and threw it and I just aggravated my leg a little bit. Nothing serious, I should be fine for the game in a day and a half. Better than sprinting for five or six overs, because we have another game in two days and I took the smart decision of going out. I didn't want to make it into a niggle or an injury."
The Indian skipper also was not amused with the concept of soft signals, which cost India the wicket of Suryakumar Yadav late into their innings.
India will now take on the tourists in the series decider on Saturday.
