We are all set to witness the latest edition of the IPL auction and the kind of names that we have for the mix, there are quite a few massive bids expected. Well, as the flames of excitement keep on fanning, a total of 333 names will be going under the hammer out of which 77 slots will be filled by the franchises.

1.    Shardul Thakur

Thakur’s talent is quite well known in the Indian cricket circles and his impressive T20 credentials makes him a fine pick in the auction. With 169 wickets in T20s from 150 matches at an economy rate of 8.76 and 416 runs scored at a strike rate of 130.40, the all-rounder could be expected to rake in the riches. 

2.    Manish Pandey

An experienced cricketer, Manish Pandey will obviously be someone who can make all the right noises. With 6849 runs from 302 T20s that he has played to date and a strike rate of 123.18, Pandey makes an excellent addition to any franchise.

3.    KS Bharat

With 1266 runs from 74 matches scored at a strike rate of 110.85, Bharat is certainly an incredible batting pick for any team. 4.    Umesh Yadav

Another experienced name in the Indian circuit, ace quick Umesh Yadav can very well turn out into one of the most sought-after Indian names in the auction. With 193 wickets claimed from 186 T20s, Umesh Yadav can be the pace spearhead that a franchise would love to add to their ranks.

5.    Shivam Mavi

An exciting young talent, Shivam Mavi can be a game-changer on the day he gets going. Already with decent performances under his belt, Mavi has shown to the world what he is capable of. He has claimed 53 wickets from the 52 T20s that he has played and will be hoping to spark a battle of paddles when his name gets called out.
