They look at the team as their own: Harshal Patel on RCB fans

The Royal Challengers Bangalore hosted a royal event to let the world know about their new jersey and captain for the upcoming season. At the RCB Unbox, the entire world got a taste of what the franchise means for the fans as they turned out in numbers to support their favourite franchise and players.

The RCB fans have always been one of the most loyal fanbases across the globe and everyone to have starred for the franchise would acknowledge the kind of support that the fans have always shown to the players and the team.

Speaking to Danish Sait about the fans, Harshal Patel, RCB’s leading-wicket taker of the least season, poured unreserved love for the 12th Man Army. He highlighted what the fans mean to the franchise. He was heard quoting, “All of these guys showed up and have been here since 10 in the morning.”

Patel also stated, “I have seen before the Covid years, how energetic these fans are for RCB and how they look at this team. They look at the team as their own.”

Patel referred to the presence of the fans at the RCB Unbox Event as he was heard quoting, “This is another glimpse of what I used to see two years before and something I have seen after this Covid thing happened.”

He expressed his gratitude saying, “I am very grateful and very happy to be a part of this franchise.” What followed next was sheer gold as he talked about what the fans can expect Harshal to do in the upcoming season.

Purple Patel concluded by citing, “You can expect absolute commitment, energy. That’s what I can bring to the field. Hopefully, that is going to be enough for us to win the trophy this year.”
