The way the bowlers showed courage was tremendous – Rajat Patidar

RCB racked up their sixth win of the season as they leapfrogged Mumbai Indians to move into the third position on the points table. RCB captain Rajat Patidar was happy with the overall performance of the unit while also explaining how the surface reacted at Chinnaswamy. He also highlighted the grit shown by RCB to get the much-needed win at Bengaluru.

Talking at the post-match presentation, Patidar said, “That was a much-needed win. Today the wicket was different and all credit goes to the bowlers after the 10th over. The way they showed courage was tremendous. Initially they batted beautifully, credit goes to them as well.”

He concluded by explaining the equations of the game and how RCB kept tab on the ever-changing numbers, stating, “We were searching for wickets, when you get wickets only you can stop runs. I always back my instincts first but we have a team of great leaders and their inputs help a lot. (On asked if they have cracked the code finally to win at the Chinnaswamy?) Yes (smiles).”
