Royal Challengers Bangalore arrive in Dubai for IPL 13 - Official Update
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) contingent arrived in Dubai on 21st August for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (Dream11 IPL). The contingent comprised of all Indian players and most members of the support staff.
As reported earlier, the three South African members of the team, AB de Villiers, Chris Morris, and Dale Steyn will join the squad on 22nd of August.
Strictly adhering to the guidelines set by the BCCI and UAE, the team flew in a chartered plane from Bangalore. On landing at the Dubai International Airport, all members underwent a COVID-19 test before checking into a designated facility at Waldorf Astoria.
All members will stay in quarantine for a week before kicking off the practice for the season. The team has also included five net bowlers who will stay and travel with the squad throughout the tournament.
The three South Africans joining on 22nd will also remain quarantine for a week’s duration before joining the rest of the members for the camp.
Australia and England members of the squad will arrive after the end of the limited over series in September.
