RCB Game Day – Bhuvneshwar Kumar confident about RCB’s bowling unit's strength ahead of IPL 2025

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru are all set to rumble in the 18th edition of the IPL. They start their campaign with a clash against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. Ahead of their all-important clash, the team's pace ace, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, decoded the conditions at Eden Gardens on RCB’s latest Game Day video.

Kumar said, “When we talk about Eden Gardens, it does help in the first six overs. So the bowling we have, there are bowlers who can swing the ball, there are bowlers who have the strength for the wicket, I am sure that it is going to be helpful for us.”

When asked if he feels the load of being a senior player in the side, Bhuvi said, “I don’t really think about it. Being a leader or not, but yes, as a senior player, you always have the responsibility of talking to juniors. If we talk about our bowling attack, it’s versatile. They’re dependable. Bowlers who have different strengths, keeping that in mind, I am sure, we are going to have a cracking season.”

He concluded with a word of love for the fans, stating, “RCB fans, I said it before that I admire you a lot. I know that you guys are going to be everywhere around the IPL in India. Yes, we are looking forward to your support and glad I am playing for you guys for you guys.”
