RCB Bold Diaries: Glenn Maxwell mimics Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis at practice ahead of IPL 2024
In less than a day’s time, the Royal Challengers Bangalore take the yard for the curtain-raiser of IPL 2024 as they clash with the home team, Chennai Super Kings. Falling agonizingly short of the Playoffs in the last year’s tournament, Faf and company will be focused to make amends and get off to a fiery start.
In the latest RCB Bold Diaries video, Glenn Maxwell and Mohammed Siraj were seen having some fun in our practice session ahead of the big game. In the video, Maxi shadowed skipper Faf from behind the net, playing identical shots as of the captain. Who doesn’t like a big backlift and a twin Faf?
How about a couple of Virats on your side? Double trouble right? Maxi ensured that he wasn’t missing out on the signature cover drive that has transcended VK to the pedestal of a cricketing God. Not only that, the Aussie entertainer also mimicked how Virat walks to the crease and takes guard, even evoking a grin from the star batter.
If Maxi could do it, why would Siraj let it go? Miyan Magic also tried to copy Kohli from behind the nets, whacking a shadow maximum while Maxi soon transformed his role - turning into a wicket-keeper.
