As IPL 2023 knocks on the radar vehemently, the Royal Challengers Bangalore have already started their preparations ahead of the season. Even though the numbers are limited in the shed, a couple of youngsters combined under the supervision of Malolan Rangarajan and Sridharan Sriram, are all set to sweat it out in the centre.

However, the man taking the center stage for the time being is RCB’s Finisher Supreme, Dinesh Karthik who was in sublime form in the 2022 edition of the IPL and showcased his class for India thereafter. In one of the previous episodes of RCB Bold Diaries, you have already witnessed him taking the yard and talking about how his preparations are going to be.

In the latest episode of the RCB Bold Diaries, Dinesh Karthik opened up on one of the latest recruits for RCB who is all set to breathe fire at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Avinash Singh. Avinash is a budding fast bowler who was spotted by RCB through Hinterland Scouting.

Talking about Avinash Singh, DK said, “I think he is somebody who has a very different bowling action. He also has a nice run-up. From the way he has built that power, it is a very important part of his body. The speed comes to him naturally. He has a very different action. His release point is slightly different from others. Avinash is a very interesting prospect. He is very raw, very young, he is learning everyday as to how he can keep on getting better at his job.”

Avinash in turn spoke pretty highly about DK, stating, “As you all know that he is one of the best batters of the world. It’s my pleasure to bowl at him and I have been learning so many things from him. It was a fabulous experience playing with him.”

Himanshu Sharma also talked about RCB’s seasoned finisher, adding, “He is a world class batter. He has lots of experience. To bowl at him is very difficult. However, it is excellent for learning.”
