Given the marathon league that IPL is, the tournament will witness countless twist and turns before it reaches its final destination. In one such tale of windings, a soaring Knight Riders will be hoping to get their momentum back on track against a resurgent Sunrisers Hyderabad.

KKR started their campaign on a rollicking note, racking up three wins out of their first four games that saw them soaring high until they stuttered against a rampant Delhi Capitals with their batters falling short in the end.

The Sunrisers took time to get their campaign rolling but once they had their names up on the cards, it has been a smooth sailing for them in the last couple of games with their batters pulling off a decent job, a perfect complement to the sublime effort posted by their bowlers.

For the Knight Riders, their batting never seemed like a worry as their batters have always managed to find the perfect chord for the team but their bowlers have struggled to find the right vein of form in the last couple of games, with Pat Cummins losing his plot completely against Pollard with the ball in his arms while against the Capitals, it was a collective fiasco.

The Sunrisers will be raring to keep their winning momentum going as a victory can get their campaign right back on track after a start that triggered fears of another woeful season loading. The Knights will be desperate to get back to winning ways to sustain the early wind in their sails that they secured after bagging three wins out of their four opening games.

The last contest to be played at Brabourne was between the Knights and the Capitals were both sides posted decent totals with Delhi bagging a 200 plus.
