Have you ever had the feeling that no matter how many new musical blockbusters you listen to, there is still an insane longing for the classics? Well, classics are like roots and at the end of all your daring and exciting adventures, you will step back to it.

The smiling visages of Virat Kohli and Mohammed Siraj are like classics to the Royal Challengers Bangalore. A bond that has been there for 15 years for Virat and for Siraj it has already been 4 long years now, the two faces are an elemental part of the Challengers’ core.

They took their own sweet time and finally hit the ground that bloomed the broadest of smiles on the faces of the supporters and the team management alike.

In the latest episode of the RCB Bold Diaries, Mohammed Siraj opened up about what his immediate objective will be as he shakes off the dust in his stride. He was heard quoting, “I was very excited for today. In fact, I couldn’t even sleep last night as the joy of finally joining my RCB family overwhelmed me.”

He further added, “I will be following my rhythm, and will be bowling accordingly. I do not want to rush things as after returning from the quarantine, it is almost next to impossible to put in my best efforts. That is why I will be focusing on my rhythm.”

Siraj was all praise for the Royal Challengers’ new captain, Faf du Plessis, as he said, “We have a very good team and a brilliant captain in Faf. He has led his country for a while and that is a plus point for all of us.”

He then shifted his focus to the most talked-about bowling unit of the Royal Challengers Bangalore as he said, “If we talk about our bowlers, the partnership between Harshal and me was pretty fine in the last edition of the tournament. Hazlewood will be coming in and Akashdeep is already there. It is a decent bonding and there is a good bench strength to support us too. It will be fun.”
