Makes it easy when we take wickets throughout – Lockie Ferguson
Lockie Ferguson has been doing some serious damage off late, recovering from the early slump that plagued his wee days in RCB colours. He was once again phenomenal last night as he rattled the Delhi Capitals batting unit with his pace.
Last night, Fergie registered figures of 4-0-23-2 where he claimed the crucial scalp of Shai Hope while removing Mukesh Kumar at the fag end of the innings. He also claimed a catch up front that removed Delhi’s wicket-keeper, Abhishek Porel.
Talking in an interview after the match, Lockie said, “We’ve all been working really hard throughout the tournament. Even when we were losing, it was all very even, we were still enjoying ourselves, we knew that things would go right soon.”
He further added, “The batters did extremely well, it was gripping a bit more than normal. Looking forward to a few days off and then taking on Chennai. Can be challenging bowling here, been great working with Griffith. Makes it easy when we take wickets throughout.
