Love that we got from RCB fans was a very different feeling – Krunal Pandya

Krunal Pandya has been a part of big sides in the IPL. After winning the IPL trophy with Mumbai Indians, he headed to Lucknow Super Giants. From there, he arrived to Bengaluru, where he donned the RCB threads for the first time in IPL 2025.

Talking on the Big Basket presents RCB Podcast, Pandya opened up on how the RCB fans motivated him to go big and intensify his sights on the ultimate silverware. He explained how that motivation went a long way

Shedding light on changing franchises, Pandya said, “I came after Mumbai Indians where I played six years with them and what we were doing, we will see trophies. And I had a good run over there. And when I came here and when I joined the team and the love what we got from the fans for me was a very different feeling.”

He further added, “And yeah, I mean that also motivated me in a different way that you know, let's do something. In fact, when we played our game against Chennai in the league stage and we were in the bus and I said, my God, these teams, people are so crazy about the team and they so want us to do well. And I was like, no, let me do the trophy because man, and I was happy and glad that we were able to do that at the end of the tournament. So yeah, it was a finished section.”
