Jhulan Goswami finished her international career in the fifth position of the ICC Women’s ODI bowling rankings, as she played an instrumental part in shaping up India’s historic clean sweep where she completed the series with an economy rate of 3 runs per over bowling a staggering 27 overs in the series.

As India completed a successful journey in England, where they reigned supreme in the ODIs, there were significant gains made by the Indian captain, Harmanpreet Kaur and ace Indian batter, Smriti Mandhana. Not only did India roll well in the batting echelons but ace Indian quick, Renuka Singh also improved by leaps and bounds in the bowling rankings.

Harmanpreet Kaur gained four slots in the batters’ list that saw her piling up 221 runs to bag the fifth position. Smriti Mandhana smashed a rollicking 181 as she gained one spot to climb to the sixth position of the batting echelons.

Renuka Singh outshined other illustrious bowling monikers in ODIs finishing as the highest wicket-taker with 8 scalps next to her name, which imparted her a jump by a staggering 35 spots to clinch the 35th position in the bowlers’ rankings.

There were other significant movements across the world too that witnessed Sophie Ecclestone, Kate Cross, Charlie Dean, Hayley Matthews and Amelia Kerr rising pretty high up the order after the conclusion of their respective international assignments.
