The Royal Challengers Bengaluru has been one of the reckoning forces in the antiquity of IPL. With its ardent fanbase always backing them in the most vociferous fashion, for any player it has meant an incredible lot. However, we wanted to know what the exact emotions are and what is the significance of making it to RCB? Our players said quite a lot on RCB Bold Diaries.

Dinesh Karthik said, “Look when you come to RCB, you are coming for a bunch of people who live, breathe and literally speak about RCB throughout the year.”

Karn Sharma said, “It’s all about the fans. The fans are so passionate.”

Mohammed Siraj said, “I am emotionally very attached to RCB. It’s not a name for me. It’s an emotion.”

Cameron Green said, “Whenever you are talking about IPL, you cannot forget to mention Virat Kohli the whole time, obviously leading the team for most part of it.”

Lockie Ferguson said, “Having played against them for so many years, just being so consistent. You always look fondly upon those teams. There’s obviously some big names”

Will Jacks said, “Incredible local and huge overseas stars come through the whole 15 year period. I am just lucky to be another one on the list.”

Alzarri Joseph said, “RCB is my grandmother’s favourite team. She’s a big fan of Virat Kohli.”

Reece Topley said, “RCB is a franchise that whenever I’ve watched IPL growing up, it was one that was always my favourite to watch.”

Rajat Patidar said, “RCB would always be my first franchise.”

Anuj Rawat said, “RCB is such a franchise that many great players are playing and many have been there in the past as well.”

Mahipal Lomror said, “I think this is one such franchise, if you ask any cricketer in India, it is a dream for any Indian cricketer or upcoming cricketer.”

Suyash Prabhudessai said, “It is a great honour to be a part of this team and be part of the same dressing room as Virat, Faf, Maxi and DK, obviously it’s a great feeling.”
