India-W eye victory in the 2nd T20I to pocket series win against Australia-W

The Indian women’s cricket team roared off to a sensational start to the T20I series as they got the better of Australia in the curtain-raiser. A collective display from the bowlers helped the hosts restrict Australia to a paltry 141 while the Indian batters made easy work of the total as they secured a nine-wicket victory.

With a day’s gap in between, both the teams will be hoping to get another fresh outing where the Indian women will be eyeing the series win which will be a mammoth leap in their cricketing antiquity while Australia, being the stalwarts, they will be hopeful of turning the tide around.

A lot will depend on India’s bowling unit once again, a department that has heavily impressed in recent times with the inclusion of new names in Shreyanka Patil and Titas Sadhu while a few seasoned campaigners have managed to get their mojo back too.
