India vs Pakistan clash scheduled at Ahmedabad as part of ICC World Cup 2023 fixtures
As the World Cup furor returns to India after 12 long years, the Indian cricket team will be starting off their campaign against one of the most formidable oppositions, Australia, on October 8th. Playing in Chennai, the Men in Blue will be hopeful of roaring to a victorious start.
India’s next clash is scheduled for Delhi, where they take on Afghanistan on October 11th ahead of the mega-clash slated to be played in Ahmedabad. On October 15th, India will be squaring off against Pakistan, a match that has the potential to be a box-office clash.
India’s next opponent will be another of their continental neighbours, Bangladesh, a game scheduled for October 19th in Pune. Three days later, India will take on New Zealand at Dharamsala on October 22nd following which there is a week’s gap before the next game on October 29th against England at Lucknow.
India will play three matches in November, starting off with QF2 (second-placed team of the Super Six) from the Qualifiers on 2nd, followed by a clash against South Africa in Kolkata on 5th of the month. The Men in Blue will end their group stages schedule with a match against A1 (Table toppers from the Super Six) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on November 11th.
