It was a sunny day at the Narendra Modi Stadium as the Indian bowlers were made to toil with their foot down, tasked with rattling the partnership between Usman Khwaja and Cameron Green as the duo went onto smash individual centuries in the game, pegging India back.

India finished their day with 36/0 on the board, eyeing to continue the momentum for the forthcoming day as they will have their task cut out with a big deficit to erase.

As the WTC finale looms on the horizon, India will have to secure a victory in this Test to confirm their final berth or in another alternative, New Zealand will have to suffer a 2-0 defeat in their home against Sri Lanka.
