After much deliberation, the all-important India-Pakistan clash as part of the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 has been rescheduled to October 14th, a day prior to the originally planned date of the match.

With the Indo-Pakistan match shifted to a day earlier, the England vs Afghanistan match has been slotted in for October 15th in Delhi. Pakistan's battle with Sri Lanka, which was slated to be played on Thursday, 12th October, will instead now be played on Tuesday, 10th October.

With the tweak in the dates for Pakistan's games, Australia's big match with South Africa in Lucknow also saw a change in the dates as it would now be played on Thursday, 12th October.

Similarly, New Zealand's fixture against Bangladesh that was slated to be played on October 14th will now be played on Friday, 13th October, and will be a day-night fixture. A timing change also happened in the game for England and Bangladesh that will be played at Dharamsala as it has now been changed to a day fixture.

The end of the league stage has seen three changes with the double-headers that was previously slated to be played on Sunday, 12th November, set to be played a day earlier that would feature clashes between Australia vs Bangladesh and England vs Pakistan.

India's schedule featured another change as the originally scheduled clash against Netherlands on November 11th has been pushed a day later to November 12th, with the game set to b contested in Bengaluru.

Apart from the changes in schedule, ICC also announced the date for ticket sales, as per venues.

The process will see two phases of tickets distribution, the first of which would involve games that don't feature India in action while the second phase is purely for Indian matches. The dates of the tickets sale are:

25 August – Non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches

30 August – India matches at Guwahati and Trivandrum

31 August – India matches at Chennai, Delhi and Pune

1 September – India matches at Dharamsala, Lucknow and Mumbai

2 September – India matches at Bengaluru and Kolkata

3 September – India matches at Ahmedabad

15 September – Semi Finals and Final
