India lock horns with Australia hoping to get a nod ahead of the T20I series finale

Team India will be returning to action for the fourth T20I after restoring parity in the series in Hobart. A clinical show from the batters propelled them to a fine victory against the stacked hosts. However, there will be a handful of changes to the Australia squad, forcing India to re-think a few strategies.

Arshdeep Singh returning to form with the ball will be a massive plus for the Indian team while his combination with Jasprit Bumrah will allow the Men in Blue to lean on the pair's proficiency up front and at the death. Suryakumar Yadav’s rollicking start in the last game can be a prelude to the madness to follow and India will be hoping that their captain fires on all cylinders, a feature which can be a massive game-changer for them.

Australia will be able to avail the services of Mahli Beardman, Ben Dwarshuis and Glenn Maxwell to strengthen their side. However, with Travis Head having been pulled out of the squad, they will need someone to take the opening mantle and inflict somewhat of a power-hitting showdown, if they are to maintain the pressure on the Indian bowlers.

Venue Watch:

This will be the first time that India will be playing in the Heritage Bank Stadium in Gold Coast, Queensland. This makes this an interesting challenge for the Men in Blue. As history suggests, this surface has been conducive for the bowlers with decent drift and bounce. With the game progressing, the pitch will become relatively easier to bat on.
