India hopeful of a clean sweep of Ireland as the hosts battle to salvage prestige in final T20I
With the T20I series already secured by India as they took an unassailable 2-0 lead against Ireland after winning the second match, the Indian team could look to make a few changes to the XI in order to test out the bench strength.
Although India put up a glorious all-round display in the second T20I that could see them keep away from making multiple changes, there could be a line of thought to bring in Shahbaz Ahamad for his all-round skill.
Despite a defeat in the second T20I, it is highly unlikely that the Irish team would be going for any changes either because the kind of spirit that this team has shown in front of the mighty Men in Blue has been nothing short of magnificent.
India will be eyeing a clean sweep of the Irish forces while Paul Stirling and company will be eyeing to throw in a spanner in India’s plans as they would be going out all guns blazing to bring out their very best and end the series on a high.
Venue Watch:
The same venue will be used for the third game as well and the kind of reputation that it has for being a batting friendly track is monstrous. Hence, expect another run-fest to happen with batters of both sides willing to put on a show for the ages.
