India gun for clean sweep of T20I series with Bangladesh desperate to salvage pride

Team India posted a rippling display in New Delhi to tame Bangladesh and eventually pocket an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the ongoing T20I series. With one more game to go in what has been a thoroughly dominant outing for the Men in Blue, Suryakumar Yadav and his men will be hopeful of clinching a clean sweep of their neighbours.

The last game witnessed the explosive potential of the Indian middle-order after the top three were back to the pavilion in no time whatsoever. The arrival of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh completely changed the dynamics and the follow-up cameos from Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag that saw boundaries flow like an endlessly fuming cascade allowed India to pile up a monumental total.

However, with the series in the bag, Gautam Gambhir and Suryakumar Yadav might just want to test their bench strength. With the likes of Harshit Rana, Tilak Varma, Ravi Bishnoi and Jitesh Sharma yet to find themselves some playing time, India might look to make quite a few changes.

Bangladesh, on the contrary, will be desperate to register their first win of the tour but the kind of form that India are in, whether new faces galore or the seasoned faces prevail, it looks like an uphill task for the visitors. Their batters have drifted in and out of form and with the isolated bursts of brilliance from the bowlers, the dream of defeating India on this tour has only been a pipe dream that the neighbours have been blowing at.

Venue Watch:

As the caravan shifts to Hyderabad, the surface at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium has formerly been a paradise for the batters. The earlier tracks that this ground has witnessed has seen the ball carry nicely to the bat and apart from the seam with the new ball, there is hardly any movement. With this being a T20I contest, expect another run-fest to take center stage and a mouth-watering clash of the two continental forces for contrasting objectives.
