On January 20, Australia's Daniel Sams and Harshal Patel joined Royal Challengers Bangalore after being traded in from Delhi Capitals.

The Australia all-rounder participated in a Q&A session hosted by Southern Cross Cricket on their Instagram handle. A host of cricket fanatics bombarded him with several questions. Replying to one of the fans, Daniel Sams remarked that he is really excited to join the RCB camp and play alongside two modern-day greats AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.

"I'm really looking forward to going to RCB for IPL. Last year was a lot of fun with Delhi. I'm just looking forward to working with some more high-class cricketers obviously like AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli." - Daniel Sams said in a video.

Here are the excerpts from the candid Q&A session

The most memorable match of life My most memorable match is probably the T20I game that I played for Australia against India this summer. It's definitely something I've been trying to do ever since I was a kid.

Cricketing idol while growing up

The cricketer that I looked up to the most when I was a kid was definitely Brett Lee. I just loved that he went out there bowled real quick. I really liked how he played with an aggressive mindset every time he stepped onto the field.

Favourite memory of BBL 10

There are quite a few but the game against Brisbane Heat stands out for me. When we were in trouble with the bat - Me, Cuttsy (Ben Cutting), and Greeny (Chris Green) were able to get us over the line.

The trick of bowling slower deliveries

For bowling slower balls, there is no one real trick to be able to do it. It's more about getting into the nets, training as much as you can and figuring out which deliveries you can bowl consistently.

Toughest batsman to bowl to

Been a few but lately playing in the IPL and the T20I series in Australia, it is definitely Hardik Pandya. He just seems to be able to hit the ball miles even when he mis-hits it. The margin of error is really small when you bowl to him.

The 28-year-old, who made his international debut against India recently, will be in action for Australia in the upcoming 5-match T20I series against New Zealand.
