I LOVE YOU GUYS: Dinesh Karthik to the RCB fans
Dinesh Karthik recently realized one of his long-time dreams of making the cut for the national team for the T20 World Cup after a staggering 15 years. The last time DK was part of the T20 World Cup squad, India lifted the silverware in 2007.
He had to brave countless mazes of ups and downs, to reach the hallowed gates of the biennial extravaganza. However, somehow, since IPL, he has been unstoppable and the belief that he has shown is absolutely priceless. Dinesh Karthik has always been a very grateful persona on and off the field and when he made it to the national team, he was straight back to his social media handles to issue a handful of thank you notes for his constants.
One of those aforementioned constants was the Royal Challengers Bangalore, who chose to believe in the man’s dynamic ability in the lower-middle order as a finisher, and DK didn’t hold back his emotions. He will be a part of the Indian squad for their upcoming contests against Australia and South Africa that would pace India’s preparatory run-up ahead of the T20 World Cup. Only time shall tell how big of a factor can Dinesh Karthik be in India’s World Cup campaign but at the moment let’s bask in the fact that our Finisher Supreme believed and he eventually made it.
