I get my confidence from my bowlers – Rajat Patidar

RCB bagged their fourth win of the season from six games, keeping their away record in IPL 2025 unblemished at the expense of Rajasthan Royals. A fine show of their batting force brushed aside RR in the latter’s backyard as RCB’s skipper, Rajat Patidar gleefully looked on.
Talking at the post-match presentation, Rajat Patidar expressed his delight at the overall performance of the team. He singled out the bowling unit of RCB, handing them unreserved praise for the excellent work that they reeling RR in what was a thought-of target.
Patidar said, “The way the bowlers executed their plans, it's nice to see. (Target in mind?) I don't think so. The way we bowled in the powerplay, that was really special. The wicket wasn't easy to bat. We were targeting 150-170.”
Talking about RCB’s bowling unit, he said, “I get my confidence from my bowlers. They are ready to bowl at any surface and at any stage, that's amazing and gives a lot of confidence for me.”
He concluded his statement with a word of acknowledgement for Phil Salt’s rampage, stating, “I really enjoyed his batting from the dug-out. The way he was striking and at the same time VK rotating the strike, it was really special. We always look to play positive and good cricket.”
