I enjoy my battles with Virat Kohli – Mitchell Starc

India is all set to take on Australia for a five-match Test series which will be played later in the year. The last time these two teams locked horns Down Under was back in 2021 when India went onto pen history by clinching the Border-Gavaskar Trophy for the second time in Australia.

This five-match series between India and Australia will be crucial because it can seal the fate of the two WTC finalists for the upcoming year which is to be played at the Lord’s. While the two juggernauts of Test cricket have already been involved in a ferocious war of words, Australia’s fast bowler, Mitchell Starc opened up on how he is looking forward to the upcoming Test series.

Talking to Star Sports, Mitchell Starc said, “I enjoy my battles with Virat Kohli just because we’ve played a lot of cricket against one another. I always have some good battles. I’ve obviously got him once or twice and he’s no doubt scored a fair few runs against me. So, it’s always a good contest and one we both enjoy.”

Both Virat Kohli and Mitchell Starc would be playing key roles for their respective teams in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. This particular rivalry between Starc and Kohli will definitely be one of the top ones to look forward to when the two stalwarts collide Down Under.
