Happy birthday, Cameron Green – Our Superman with hands as safe as houses
It is the 25th birthday of our Superman, Cameron Green, and we simply couldn’t keep calm. Why would we? After all, an all-rounder like Greeny is super special and his charismatic presence in the dugout simply does wonders of lifting the mood no matter where we are and in whatever ordeal we are stuck in.
As our towering all-rounder celebrates his 25th birthday, we thought of taking a walk down the memory lane and bring to you a couple of absolute stunners grabbed by Greenie in his very first year at RCB.
The first one of them came against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the green game where Angrish Raghuvanshi who looked in solid touch until then had plans of flicking one over mid-wicket. His timing against Yash Dayal seemed slightly misplaced and he ended up lifting one in the intended area, taking on the burly stature of Cam Green.
The Aussie all-rounder, who was already back-pedalling, stuck his right arm out and while on the fall, he plucked the ball from mid-air and latched onto it, leaving the fans absolutely stunned in the Eden Gardens.
If this grab from Greeny was special, he had another brilliant effort readied for a bigger occasion that came during RCB’s unbeaten run which started off with a double against the Gujarat Titans.
Watch out for that Cameron Green outfield catch! 🔥🔥@RCBTweets are pumped 🆙 as Shubman Gill departs for 16.

Shubman Gill, who looked uncomfortable in the battle where GT was playing RCB for the first time in 2024, wanted to take the aerial route. The connection seemed pretty fine and the placement was audacious enough, trying to sneak one beyond Green.
But then as we call him our very own Superman, he knows how to fly and this take was even better because he had to cover quite a significant distance before throwing himself to his left as he claimed a sensational grab at long-on. In catches like these when the player hits the ground, there is a tendency of the ball bobbling up from his hands and eventually slipping out. However, for our Wham-Bam-Cam, we reckon he is just too good for any of it.
A very happy birthday, Cameron Green. Have a rocking one, mate.
