Danni Wyatt-Hodge and Smriti Mandhana came together to stitch a solid partnership that laid down the platform for RCB’s phenomenal win against the Delhi Capitals. Danni scored a 33-ball-42, smacking seven fours while scoring at a strike rate of 127.27.

Talking in a post-match interview, Danni Wyatt-Hodge opened up about the feeling of being at the non-striker’s end to Smriti’s destruction. She also revealed how playing alongside Smriti makes it way too easy for her to bat while underscoring her long-time partnership with the RCB captain being a key reason for their incredible chemistry.

Danni said, “We said before this game, I spoke in the huddle that lets do this! Had the best seat in the house with Smriti batting like that. Our catching has been exceptional. She keeps me very calm. She was coaching me a little.”

She further added, “We bat a lot together for the Southern Brave. Great franchise. Everyone has been so welcoming. The slower balls were gripping. Some helpful messages from her. Pleasure to bat with Smriti.”
