It’s game day for the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women as they gear up for their upcoming clash against the Delhi Capitals. Smriti Mandhana and company have been off to a rip-roaring start, slaying UP Warriorz and Gujarat Giants in their two opening fixtures comfortably.

As RCB prepare for a Capital-sized challenge, the latest video of Bold Diaries captured the current mood in the dressing room of the team where confidence met realistic anticipations. Ahead of the all-important clash, here is what the Royal Challengers Bangalore women had to say -

Smriti Mandhana said, “There are a lot of my Indian teammates there. A lot of friends there. Hopefully a lot of fun on the ground when they come to bat or they come to bowl. Definitely in the last year they were the most consistent team and the way they went about their cricket was really nice. This is going to be a really good contest.”

Richa Ghosh said, “I am very excited because last time when we played, it was an exciting match-up. This time we are planning to make it better given how are team has lined up. I will try my best to score against the Delhi bowlers, a special mention for India’s ace quick, Shikha Di.”

She further added, “This time the mood in the dressing room is very positive. The way everyone is attached to each other, the way everyone is bonding, is amazing. This is one of the reasons the bond is strong and that is also getting reflected on the field.”

Shreyanka Patil said, “The team vibe has been amazing. We got two wins on the bounce. We are top of the table. We’re just enjoying the feeling. We’ve had some team bonding sessions. We have gone out for bowling. We have had some amazing TT challenge. We’re just having fun and knowing each other well. We are also backing each other. Looking forward for upcoming matches.”
