Dream come true for me – Anuj Rawat on sharing the dressing room with Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has always influenced countless young aspiring cricketers. Many dream of being in the same frame as the King and those who have lived that life cherish it. One such cricketer to have shared the dressing room with Virat Kohli is former RCB player, Anuj Rawat.

Rawat was part of RCB from 2022-25 where the franchise picked him up for INR 3.4 crore. Anuj played 22 matches for RCB, scoring 318 runs with his knock of 66 against Mumbai Indians being the standout performance for the dynamic southpaw.

Currently a part of the Gujarat Titans, Rawat opened up how being a part of the same dressing room as Virat Kohli was a dream come true for him. Speaking to ANI ahead of GT’s clash against Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Rawat spoke about Kohli with the highest of respect.

Anuj said, “I am very grateful that I have been a part of such a franchise (RCB) where Virat Kohli was there. I think it was one of the best days. Sharing a dressing room with such a legend, I would say it's a dream come true for me.”
