Confident RCB keen to continue winning run against Kolkata Knight Riders

When Royal Challengers Bangalore take on Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday, one can expect plenty of fireworks. The Sharjah Cricket Stadium has thus far witnessed batsmen pounding the bowlers without a sign of sympathy. 

A collective display by the bowlers and a stellar performance from the skipper would have given enough confidence to the whole RCB unit. With Chris Morris back into the mix, the death bowling wing sports a settled look. The victory against CSK was deemed much more special for the fact that Virat Kohli was back to his usual rhythm, exhibiting a crafty 90 off just 52 balls. If the Sharjah wicket plays true to its nature, KKR bowlers will certainly find it hard to contain runs against the likes of Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. The biggest plus for RCB from Saturday's game was the tidy bowling performance of Chris Morris and Isuru Udana in the death overs. The two pacers had combined returns of 4-49 from 8 overs. 

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders showed commendable character against Kings XI Punjab to clinch victory from the jaws of defeat. The spin duo of Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy have contributed immensely to the team's success, claiming 10 wickets each. Andre Russell, who hasn't quite been able to find his feet in the challenging conditions, will look to make amends with the willow. 

Both the teams sit pretty at the table with eight points each from six matches. All in all, we can expect a cracker of the contest on Monday.
