Bold Diaries: RCB begin practice, ABD arrives in Dubai

After serving six full days of hard quarantine, and returning three COVID-19 tests negative during the period, Royal Challengers have begun their camp for the remaining half of IPL 2021.

Meanwhile, AB de Villiers flew in Dubai early on 6th September and straightway went into mandatory quarantine, post which he will be joining the squad.

On the other hand, two other prominent overseas names RCB overseas players, too are expected to reach Dubai this week.

Earlier on Sunday, the players and support staff who had started their quarantine on 29th August, ventured out of their rooms after completing the mandatory quarantine.

The day also saw the team kick off their preparatory game with a football match, keeping in the RCB tradition, followed by some light drills under the watchful eyes of coaches and support staff.

With overseas players joining in the coming days, the team would be hitting its straps in the practice sessions.

RCB kick off their UAE leg with the clash against Kolkata Knight Riders in Abu Dhabi on 20th September.
