Gone are those days when captains relied heavily on the spinners to disrupt the opposition's batting line-up. The pace bowlers armed with a multitude of options have proved to be a potent tool in any team's arsenal over the last few years.

Surprisingly, India's landmark pink-ball Test against Bangladesh witnessed a series of occurrences never seen before. The Indian pacers accounted for all the wickets (19) for the first time in the home Test against Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens.

Speaking to IANS, Bhuvneshwar Kumar voiced his opinion on India's current bowling line-up, which played a key role in the team's magnificent success in SENA countries. He also praised the skipper, Virat Kohli, for always entrusting the pace bowlers to menace returns, particularly in the longest format.

The likes of Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Umesh Yadav, and Bhuvneshwar Kumar have been at the forefront of India's ascendancy in Test cricket.

"I do not know whether it is the best or not but it is very good for sure because of every individual's ability. You need the support of the captain through everything and Virat has always been helpful to each of us,” Bhuvneshwar Kumar was quoted as saying.
