BCCI announces latest list of central contracts for Indian women's cricket team

BCCI announced the latest list of central contracts for the Indian women's cricket team, and quite expectedly, three names were featured in the Grade A category. Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma made the cut for the elite group at the top.

Apart from them, Renuka Singh Thakur, Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma and Richa Ghosh held onto their Grade B contracts.

RCB all-rounder, Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu, Arundhati Reddy, Amanjot Kaur and Uma Chetry bagged their first central contract, placed in Group C. Alongside them was another Royal Challenger, Sneh Rana, as well as all-rounders Pooja Vastrakar and Radha Yadav.

In the topmost category, a player earns INR 50 lakh annually, while being paid INR 30 lakh and 10 lakh for being in the B and C category respectively.
